Patch & Putty
Our patching products add value to your products by repairing voids, cracks and defects in plywood, laminated veneer lumber, wood molding, lam-beams, and other substrates. Our low VOC and solvent-based putties will meet your production requirements and appearance standards. They can be sawn, sanded, planed, nailed or stapled without breaking down and are available in a variety of colors to match substrates.
Paints & Primers
Our Specialty Coatings Division formulates custom designed paints and primers to meet your substrate, application, and curing requirements for solid or composite wood products.
Sealers & Repellents
Formulated to deeply penetrate wood for optimal protection from all types of contamination and degradation such as water absorption, swelling, checking, discoloration, and mold.
Inks & Releasants
Releasants are formulated to give long lasting releasing purpose and they are also an effective coating for protection of equipment from glues (or binders) of all kinds in the wood industries. We have designed disappearing inks to indicate moisture in veneer as well as bright legible inks for masking plywood, veneer and other wood products in the industry.
PolyQuik
PolyQuik spray polyurea a two-component, fast curing, 100% solids elastomer coating. Products can be formulated to give a wide range of physical properties to meet a variety of needs. PolyQuik coatings can be sprayed on many substrates, including concrete, asphalt, wood, and geotextile. Areas of application include primary and secondary containment, protective coatings for concrete and metals, and abrasion resistant coatings.

SpikeFast
SpikeFast® is a high-performance spikehole filler material that anchors spikes with comparable strength to that of unspiked hardwood ties. It can be applied in extreme weather conditions such as pouring rain, high humidity, or freezing temperatures. SpikeFast is easy to apply, prolongs tie life, and can help increase your rail maintenance efficiency.
Polyurethane Cast Parts
Cast Elastomers are polyurethane parts cast in molds to create bumpers, wheels, and other parts for use in production lines and on equipment. WVCO designs polyurethane parts to meet the customer's standards for hardness or softness, flexibility, and chemical and abrasion resistance. WVCO's cast parts are used on buses as bumpers, wood cutting tools to hold the wood in place, crossover pads that protect cables in roadways and on floors, as well as many other uses.
Maxcast is a two-component polyurethane system. The cured resin is hard and has excellent physical properties. Some of its uses include casting, prototype part making, and potting of electrical components. This is an easy-to-use non-MOCA or TDI compound.
Polyurea
Polyurea is a versatile coating used in many applications. It is a sprayed
on liner for coating concrete, geotextile, wood or metal for secondary
containment, truck bed liners, parking garages, industrial floors and walls,
or as a roofing material. Polyurea is also a rolled on floor coating and a
caulking material for concrete joints. A liquid one or two-component
elastomer, Polyurea is formulated to be applied either through a metering
system, cartridge, or rolled on like paint. Polyurea can be applied in high
moisture conditions, is resistant to most industrial chemicals, and has good
abrasion resistance. It is supplied in many colors and can be custom color
matched.
Extenders & Fillers
The product line supports a variety of materials that range in color, particle size, protein, moisture and ash percentages. These products are supported by a technical group that fully understand the individual performance characteristics and the importance of product consistency. Typical examples of product uses are fillers and/or extenders for hardwood plywood, softwood plywood, Laminated veneer lumber (LVL), putty manufacture and other adhesive applications.
